Friendly Fill-Ins Blog Hop: With Natasha

Happy Friday! We’re participating in the Friendly Fill-Ins Blog Hop, presented by 15 and Meowing and McGuffy’s Reader. This week Natasha is helping me.

1. I wish I could afford to hire someone to _________________.

2. Zucchini _____________________________.

3. One Summertime memory I recall is _____________.

4. This Summer, ______________________.

1. I wish I could afford to hire someone to clean my house. (Natasha: I wish I could afford to hire someone to babysit Connor so I could have some quiet.)

2. Zucchini bread is good and the only way I really like zucchini. (Natasha: What is it exactly?)

3. One Summertime memory I recall is eating watermelon outside as it got dark. (Natasha: This is my first summer with my Mama and Dad. One memory I recall is when we got the cat tree!)

4. This Summer, I’m trying to stay out of the heat and humidity. (Natasha: This Summer, I’m having fun watching the birds and the squirrels. Did you know that birds take baths?)

Have a great weekend, human and fur friends!

  1. I sure wish I could afford someone to clean my house, too!

I do like zucchini bread - not a fan of zucchini itself, but yes to the zucchini bread!

What a fun memory! Eating watermelon outside is always fun. And a cat tree for Natasha - you're going to have so much fun with that!

I do not miss the heat and humidity from when we lived in PA - here in Washington State it can get hot during the summer months (usually not until August) but no humidity (or very rarely). I understood what people meant by the phrase "It's not the heat, it's the humidity!" :) Hope you stay cool - and have fun watching the critters, Natasha, they're fun to watch! Have a great weekend!

    Friday Friendly Fill-Ins for Fun!

  2. I didn't plant any zucchini this year but I did plant rampicante which is similar but better I think. I should try to make zucchini bread from it.

  4. Love this segment!
Our mom loves zucchini - I think we're having some tonight. I hope we get to taste it!
We go on our walk as early as it's light in the Summer (for the most part) to try to avoid the heat/humidity, maybe play in the pool, then we're done for the day! Mom goes out and does her garden stuff while it's hot. She's ... not a Siberian like us!

  6. I love the answers both of you gave! Although not a fan of zucchini by itself, I love zucchini bread, too! And as I mentioned in my own fill-ins, it's even better with my mom's cream cheese icing. Yum! We sure hope you have luck staying cool! We're having a hard time with that ourselves. And, Natasha, I hope Connor allows you some quiet time this weekend! Purrs!

  9. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins. I enjoyed both sets of answers. Zucchini bread is good, I need to make some. And I am trying to keep cool inside too. And Natasha, I hope you get to have a babysitter for Connor, that would be nice. Have a great weekend!
